Mohn Surveying, Inc, has been conducting hydrographic surveys throughout the United States of America, especially in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri since 1975.
Shallow water hydrographic surveying is our specialty.
Mohn Surveying, Inc. provides civil engineering services for all type and sizes of mapping and construction projects.
Our licensed civil engineering division has been serving Iowa and Wisconsin, especially Northeast Iowa and Western Wisconsin since 1986.

Mohn Surveying, Inc. has been and is currently completing hydrographic surveys for the United States Corps of Engineer projects since 1975.
These projects have been located at inland lakes in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri as well as on major waterways such as the Mississippi River, the Missouri River, and the Ohio River, and Lake Michigan.
Mohn Surveying is licensed to operate a UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) or what is commonly called a drone.
Jacob Mohn, of Mohn Surveying, Inc., is a licensed UAS Pilot with 3 years of experience in UAS Photogrammetry.
A DJI Matrice 600 Pro armed with a Sony A7 camera is used for field data collection.
In the office, PixElement is used for data processing, and Carlson software along with IntelliCad for mapping.
Our drone survey services complement our land surveying services, giving us an additional data collection tool for preparation of reports, analyses, and mapping.
