Idaho Survey Group is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to work in our Boise, Idaho office.
Our primary areas of survey practice include land development, boundary, and construction surveys.
This position will work under the direction of a senior PLS.
Candidates must have strong math, communication and organizational skills; be a team player; be physically fit with a willingness/enthusiasm to work outdoors, as well as in a professional office environment on a wide variety of projects.
This position may require overtime and work outdoors in adverse conditions, as needed.
Commercial Land Surveys contain accurate measurements and in-depth analysis of the real property and improvements located on the property.
In some cases, commercial property may need a survey when bought or sold, before and during the land development process, or when an owner needs to protect her/his property rights.
Commercial Land Surveys differ in both size and complexity from other projects and require an experienced team who can complete the public research, conduct the survey, and establish accurate descriptions of the property and improvements.
The telecommunications industry continues to add infrastructure including cell towers and fibre.
The communication companies need experts who can complete these surveys to the highest levels of accuracy and detail.
Erecting and expanding towers, bringing in electricity and connectivity can't be achieved unless federal, state and local regulations are addressed and certified.
Idaho Survey Group is experienced performing the required surveys and certifications.
Tower Height and FAA 1A and 2C Certifications are required on on all cell tower installations and expansions.
