Weigler Land Surveying, Ltd is a small, locally owned, business providing land surveying services throughout North Central Ohio. The company was formed with the goal of providing these services in a professional and timely manner with a focus on quality and meeting client expectations. The exact nature of land surveying is sometimes not understood by the general public.
Professional land surveyors are licensed by the state in which they practice and must follow state laws which were enacted to protect the interests and welfare of the public. Professional land surveyors are also governed by a code of ethics. At Weigler Land Surveying we constantly remind ourselves that land surveying is a profession first and a business second.

1: The title company got back to me and said I need a pinned survey on my property.
What are they talking about?
A "pin" or "pinned" survey is non-technical jargon for a boundary survey.
It probably comes from the fact that iron rods, commonly called iron pins, would be set on property corners as a result of the boundary survey.
2: We're refinancing our home, and the out of state lender wants us to provide them with (I think they called it) a "Print", or a "Location Print", or an "ID Survey", or something like that from a surveyor.
