It provides the title company with the information required to insure the title to the land.
This type of surveying comes with high liability, so these surveys are usually more costly.
It's similar to Topography | Architectural Surveys but they have more technical information.
Table A of the ALTA/ACSM will need to be filled out for the specific services needed by the title company.
