Alan C. Gaidelis, a lifetime boater, entered the marine surveying profession in 1995 at the recommendation of another SAMS Accredited surveyor.
In 1999, he sold a repair business and founded Bayside Marine Surveying, Inc., so that he could survey full time.
Since then, Alan has gained a reputation for thoroughness, accuracy and honesty, and his business has grown steadily.
Alan has spent most of his life working with those things mechanical.
He possesses an extensive knowledge of marine mechanics and systems and most types of boat construction.

Alan has been a pleasure to work with.
He went out of his way to explain even the smallest of details during our boat survey.
He was always friendly and very professional.
I would recommend Bayside Marine Surveying to anyone needing a detailed marine survey that produces the final report in a very timely manner as promised.
Alan has surveyed several boats I bought, you can always expect a very detailed and informative report.
Alan also takes the time to explain his findings and what they mean for the buyer.
