Schwarz Land Surveying & Development, Inc. was founded in 1983 as Schwarz Engineering & Surveying, Inc. by Mr. Edgar Schwarz, Jr. and Mr. James E. Schwarz. Edgar, a Boerne resident his entire life, had been a registered engineer since 1958 providing engineer & surveying services to our area as well as working in various city offices, including City Manager.
Mr. James Schwarz started surveying with his father, Edgar, while still in high school. Upon graduation he pursued other ventures before returning home to Boerne in 1983 to start Schwarz Engineering & Surveying, Inc. Jim became a registered surveyor in 1989 and today is the President of Schwarz Land Surveying & Development, Inc.
With the passing of Edgar, our company decided to focus on the surveying portion of our business, lending support to professionals for their development needs as well as continuing to service the general public with land surveys.Our company services mostly Kendall County, a growing region, as well as surrounding counties, providing all necessary types of survey work related to land development and real estates transactions.
