If your needs involve the characterization of the subsurface for either environmental assessments or geotechnical soil analysis, we have the expertise and the instrumentation required to achieve your objectives. Our capabilities range from the acquisition of soil, soil gas, and groundwater samples to the full suite of data requirements for a comprehensive site model.

We are capable of providing real time, in-situ detection of contaminants, field screening of contaminants using a gas chromatograph, and subsurface injection of remediation materials. Additionally, we provide a wide range of geophysical services for environmental, geotechnical, and geohazard applications. GeoTek Hawaii, Inc. is fully insured to meet the requirements of our clients, government agencies, and the professional community.

We stand ready to assist with your environmental, geotechnical, and geophysical data acquisition needs with a commitment to providing a value added service.
Services
Macro-Core (MC) tooling is a solid barrel that is pushed into the subsurface for collecting continuous core samples of unconsolidated materials at depth.
The Macro-Core soil samples are collected in a Teflon, PVC, or PETG liner of five feet (5-ft.)
No cuttings eliminates handling, containing, storing and disposing of potentially hazardous and contaminated cuttings.
Dual Tube Sampling Systems are efficient methods of collecting continuous soil cores with the added benefit of a cased hole.
Dual tube sampling uses two sets of probe rods to collect continuous soil cores.
Soil gas or Soil vapor sampling can be achieved in a wide variety of locations under a wide variety of conditions.
Sub-slab installations can be carried out by hand for shallow depths or with our limited access machines for deeper depths.
Soil Vapor Implants installed by GeoTek Hawaii are a high quality stainless steel implant.
Usually installed for long term monitoring or for more controlled sample intervals.
Post Run Tubing (PRT) is a very efficient tool when it comes to soil vapor investigations.
The Screen Point (SP) system is a protected screen, direct push groundwater sampler for use in unconsolidated materials.
Its watertight design eliminates the threat of formation fluids entering the screen before deployment and ensures higher sampling integrity than conventional samplers.
The Groundwater Profiler enables you to conduct vertical profiling of groundwater quality from a discrete interval using 6-in.
This is an excellent tool for use in finding where your water table is.
With the ability to push and pull throughout the column, this tool simplifies groundwater sampling and profiling.
The Membrane Interface Probe (MIP) is a tool for the detection and logging of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chlorinated solvents in the subsurface as it is driven to depth.
Compounds can be detected in either the vadose zone or saturated zone.
The VOCs and chlorinated solvents are volatilized (with a heating element in the tool) and pass through the tool's semi-permeable membrane.
Compounds are then transported through the trunkline by a carrier gas to a detection system on the surface consisting of PID, FID, and DELCD detectors.
GeoTek Hawaii is a leader in the use of Direct Push Technology, but we are not limited to percussion probing tools.
GeoTek has a wide range of auger tooling to fit your needs regardless of your scope of work.
With the simplicity of a single bolt or pin, we can switch over from Direct Push to Auger Drilling in a matter of minutes.
Easily install large diameter tooling for Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) and downhole monitoring systems.
