We use complimentary techniques that measure different physical properties of the same target, thus increasing the confidence of detecting & characterizing buried features. TERRA PHYSICS conducts many types of geophysical surveys including Seismic, Resistivity, EM, Radar & Ground Water, in support of environmental & geophysical projects. Our geophysical surveys have been conducted on military bases and Federal, state, county, city, Native American facilities and at commercial & industrial complexes around the world.
Geophysical surveys are an integral part of a site investigation, expanding knowledge of a site at a fraction of the cost while guiding drilling to locations of subsurface features of interest. Geophysical survey results can help optimally position follow up drilling activities to directly encounter subsurface features of interest. TERRA PHYSICS uses the latest hardware/software systems to conduct geophysical surveys to complete your geophysical project on time and within budget.

Services
Geophysical surveys can be an integral part of site investigations because they detect changes in the composition of subsurface materials and ground water conditions rapidly across large areas without drilling or excavating.
These changes may be horizontal and/or vertical boundaries between different soil/rock units, hydrological settings, or buried man-made objects.
Selection of the appropriate methods for an investigation depends on the nature, size, and burial depth of the target, local geological and hydrological setting, and surrounding surficial man-made features that may act as noise sources.

More than three quarters of our work is for repeat clients that are continually satisfied with the quality of our survey results.
Our costs are low because we truly are a small company with very low overhead and have years of experience in controlling costs.
TERRA PHYSICS can help design and complete the appropriate geophysical survey for detecting the buried feature of interest at your site.
Please contact us for additional project histories, resumes, or to discuss your specific situation.

Radar, EM pipe/cable locators, and magnetic locator were carried along profiles spaced about 5 feet apart and oriented in two mutually perpendicular directions to delineate utilities, USTs and associated piping, backfilled pits where former USTs had been removed, and buried foundations of past facilities.
Buried features were interpreted in real time and painted on the ground.
Their locations were measured with differentially corrected GPS and georeferenced maps (AutoCAD and ESRI formats) were delivered.
