Boatwright Land Surveyors, Inc. is a full service surveying and mapping firm providing professional services to the entire state of Florida with a focus on the Northeast Florida area. Our clientele ranges from city, county, state and federal government agencies, large corporate clients to private homeowners and residential developers. Boatwright Land Surveyors, Inc. (BLS) located in Jacksonville Beach was incorporated in the State of Florida in 1983 by Donn W. Boatwright, president and owner.
Donn began his career in Land Surveying when he was employed by H. A. Durden and Associates in 1971 as a rodman. He worked his way up to instrument man and then party chief. At night, he learned how to do suvey computations and draft the surveys he had worked on in the field during the day. Once he became proficient in drafting, he began his education toward becoming a licensed land surveyor.
Donn Boatwright was licensed as a Registered Land Surveyor in July of 1977. This acquisition has increased our capability, resources and information base.
