The Tenneson Engineering Corporation is an Oregon-based professional civil engineering, land surveying, and planning firm providing services to the Mid-Columbia area. The firm's area of expertise includes civil public works-type projects of all kinds, specially oriented to the smaller communities in our service area which cannot afford full-time staff.
Services
Tenneson Engineering Corporation has over 55 years of experience in providing professional consulting services.
We began with the formation of Wall & Tenneson in 1952.
This business later became Vernon B. Tenneson & Associates and was incorporated under its current name in 1959.
The firm has developed a steady clientele within its service area and is available for specific projects outside of that area.
The firm currently serves as the Engineer-of-Record for the Cities of Dufur, Fossil, Culver, and Maupin; the special districts of Chenowith Water PUD, Port of The Dalles, and Port of Klickitat; and numerous other small Oregon cities on an as-needed basis.
Since Tenneson Engineering is a small to mid-size engineering/surveying firm, we specialize in providing infrastructure design services for small communities east of the Cascades.
This specialization permits us to gain a working knowledge of the design philosophies and economic realities, allowing completion of projects that get the job done simply and efficiently.
Our firm's specialty is civil engineering, including roadways and water and wastewater systems typical of the region.
These facilities include sewage lagoons and wastewater treatment plants, along with all water system components, such as source development, treatment, storage, transmission, and distribution.
The firm's area of expertise has included civil public works-type projects of all kinds, especially oriented to the smaller communities in our service area which cannot afford full-time staffs.
Surveying works include cross-country surveys for pipeline and powerline rights-of-way, construction staking and layout, boundary surveys, subdivision plats, and development of site plans, both for our own projects and for architects under subcontracts.
We provide structural designs, primarily for industrial-type buildings and remodeling work where required for building permit reviews.
